FINDING ANSWERS TO GLOBAL CHALLENGES
The main reason for creating SERT FOUNDATION FOR SUSTAINABLE ENVIRONMENT RESEARCH AND TRAINING is to identify the best environmental practices around the world through data and evidence-based approaches and to replicate it locally - starting from India.
SERT will be the hub for international projects covering issues related to forest and wildlife conservation through nature-based solutions; focused climate change mitigation and adaptation measures through effective waste management, transport and vehicle pollution management; and supporting projects of human well-being related to health and aging.
Providing accurate and reliable spatial and non-spatial data on environment and health will be one of the primary goals of SERT. SERT will also provide capacity development for governments, educational institutions and individuals on environmental policy and sustainable development. Technical training on Geo-spatial technologies will also be conducted by the institution.
